Why waiving intellectual property rights for Covid vaccines is wrong

IP has been the unsung hero, enabling dozens of exploration collaborations and producing partnerships all more than the globe, generally amongst rivals. Rivals have shared proprietary compounds, platforms and systems to develop new vaccines in report periods. Even much more dubious is the notion implicit in the WTO proposal that there is spare producing capacity that could be harnessed if only IP didn’t stand in the way.
