University of Florida Health CEO Dr. Leon Haley dies unexpectedly

Dr. Leon Haley Jr., CEO of University of Florida Wellness Jacksonville and dean of the UF Higher education of Medication, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 24, at the age of fifty six.
Motion News Jax claimed that Haley died right after currently being ejected from a jet ski right after dropping command and crashing into a jetty.
In addition to serving as CEO and dean, Haley was a UF professor of unexpected emergency drugs and vice president for wellness affairs for the college. He assumed his UF roles in January 2017 and turned CEO of UF Wellness Jacksonville in January 2018.
Haley rose up the educational ranks to become professor of unexpected emergency drugs at Emory University, wherever he was a clinician, scholar and administrator. At Grady Memorial Medical center, Emory’s protection-net clinic, Haley assumed expanding duties for faculty matters and was government associate dean for clinical affairs.
On leading of these roles, Haley served as chief clinical officer of the Emory Health-related Care Basis in Atlanta. He previously served as deputy senior vice president of clinical affairs, chief of unexpected emergency drugs for Grady Wellness Technique and vice chair of unexpected emergency drugs at Emory University.
Prior to his positions at Grady and Emory, Haley was a senior employees health practitioner at the Henry Ford Wellness Technique in Detroit.
Haley finished his undergraduate diploma from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his clinical diploma from the University of Pittsburgh and his master’s diploma in wellness solutions administration from the University of Michigan. Haley finished his residency in unexpected emergency drugs at the Henry Ford Wellness Technique, serving a year as chief resident.

Haley was father to one particular daughter, Nichelle, and two sons, Grant and Wesley. He is also survived by his parents, Elizabeth Ann and Leon Haley Sr., and sister, Lisa Haley Huff. He was predeceased by his brother, Loren Haley.
