Supermarket crisis is a good thing, says Tory MP

The Conservative Party’s row with small business escalated sharply on Sunday after a Tory MP claimed the breakdown of supermarket supply chains is in the “long-phrase interest” of the British economy regardless of fears of meals shortages.

As the economy is currently being crippled by driver shortages and offer bottlenecks that have still left gaps on grocery store shelves, Chris Loder, Conservative MP for West Dorset, argued that it would be fantastic for offer chains to break.
