Pope Francis Goes to Rome Hospital for Intestinal Surgery

VATICAN CITY—Pope Francis went to a Rome clinic for scheduled surgery for a stenosis, or restriction, of the large intestine, the Vatican said Sunday.

The transient announcement from the Holy See’s push workplace didn’t say exactly when the surgery would be executed but said there would be an announcement when it was finish.
