BAGHDAD—Rockets struck an Iraqi foundation housing American troops on Saturday, lowering any expectations of de-escalation soon after U.S. strikes on an Iran-backed militia in response to the killing of two of its troops at the similar foundation this 7 days.
At minimum 25 rockets fell on Camp Taji early Saturday, wounding a few U.S. service associates, two of them significantly, U.S. officers explained. Two associates of the Iraqi air force command were being also gravely wounded in the strike, an Iraqi military services spokesman explained.
