BERLIN—German prosecutors on Thursday billed a Russian citizen who they mentioned was acting on the Kremlin’s orders in the murder of a Georgian national in Berlin past 12 months.
Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, a previous Chechen rebel leader, was shot useless in the German capital in August. The suspected killer, a Russian national recognized in the indictment as Vadim K. was arrested near the scene.
