European Scientists Set Nuclear-Fusion Energy World Record
A gadget based at a U.K. facility in Oxfordshire has made the greatest sustained nuclear-fusion energy at any time recorded, European researchers explained Wednesday.
The effects of the December 2021 experiment, which generated 59 megajoules of fusion strength for 5 seconds, “demonstrates we are on the appropriate path” with regards to nuclear fusion, reported Rafael Juárez Mañas, an engineering professor at the National Length Education and learning University in Madrid who wasn’t involved in the exploration.
