The Cupboard Committee on Financial Affairs has authorized Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) fees for Phosphatic & Potassic (P&K) fertilisers for the yr 2021-22 (from Oct one, 2021 to March 31, 2022) with web subsidy of ₹28,655 crore for Rabi 2021-22.
The authorized fees are ₹18.789 for each kg for Nitrogen, ₹45.323 for each kg for Phosphorous ₹10.116 for each kg for Potash, ₹2.374 for each kg for Sulphur, for each an official launch issued next the CCEA meeting on Tuesday.
A unique one-time deal for additional subsidy on DAP at the tentative additional cost of ₹5,716 crore and a few most eaten NPKs quality at the tentative cost of ₹837 crore was also authorized, rising the total subsidy required to ₹35,a hundred and fifteen crore, the launch added.
The CCEA also authorized the inclusion of Potash derived from molasses (::14.5:) less than the NBS plan.
The selection on P&K fertilisers will help its easy availability to the farmers throughout Rabi Year 2021-22 at the subsidised/inexpensive charges of fertilizers and assist the agricultural sector by continuing the present subsidy ranges and giving unique offers of additional subsidy for DAP and a few largely eaten NPK grades, the launch reported.
